Sondi Gokul alias Gokul (22 years) is rowdy from Kovilpalayam Lakshmi Nagar, next to Coimbatore. There are more than 20 cases against him in various police stations including Dudiyalur, Saravanampatti, Kovilpalayam, including murder, robbery and robbery.
Saravanampatti police registered a case against Gokul and 5 of his friends in connection with the murder of Monkey Sriram from Kannappa in 2021.
Meanwhile, 5 people including Gokul surrendered in Chennai court. They were later imprisoned.
Meanwhile, Gokul came out on bail. The trial of Kurungu Sriram’s murder is going on in the 3rd Judicial Magistrate’s Court, Coimbatore.
Gokul has been absent from the case for the past few days. In this situation, the court issued an arrest warrant for him. Gokul appeared in court last week.
Meanwhile Gokul came to the court with his friend Manoj. He then went inside with his lawyer and signed and came out.
Then Gokul and Manoj went to a tea shop in Gopalapuram behind the court to drink tea around 11 am.
Then they were followed by a gang of 4 people. Gokul and Manojum walked to the tea shop, thinking that those persons must be court visitors.
They were talking near the shop. Then the 4 people who were following them came near Gokul. In the blink of an eye, the mob surrounded Gokul and slashed him with weapons including knives and sickles.
Gokul and his friend escaped from the clutches of the gang. However, the gang ran across the middle of the road, chased Oda and slashed Gokul. A cut fell on his neck.
Manoj immediately tried to save Gokul from them. But the gang also killed Manoj. In this, Manoj, who was cut on his head and legs, was unable to run further and fell down and was throbbing.
Meanwhile, Gokul collapsed in a flood of blood and died on the spot. Having accomplished the purpose they came for, the murderous gang calmly walked on as if nothing had happened.
Then the gang got into the vehicle they came in and fled. The massacre took place in broad daylight in a public area.
Those who saw the murder were shocked. Some ran away from the area. Some of them filmed the scene on their mobile phones while standing on the sidelines.
Police investigation The racecourse police, who came to know about the murder, immediately reached the spot and conducted an investigation.

Gokul, who was murdered, and Manoj, who was seriously injured, studied together in school. Manoj is working in a private company in Kiranatham. Knowing that a gang has planned to kill Gokul, he always keeps a knife with him for protection. Even as he lay murdered, he was found to have a knife stuck in his waist.
Gokul, who does not want to go to court alone because of the threat, brings his friend Manoj to accompany him. As he was leaving the court after signing, a gang of 5 people surrounded him and killed Gokul and escaped.
The CCTV footage of the area has been seized and an investigation is underway. Surya (24) from Ratnapuri area, Unnikrishnan (26) from Vellalur, Chittaputur Kavaskan (27) and Gautham (27) known as Odaarai from Ratnapuri were also found to be involved in this murder. 5 special forces have been formed to catch them.
Gokul, who was murdered, was in love with a young woman from Coimbatore. The girl has no mother. Gokul had planned to marry the girl on Valentine’s Day. Preparations were underway. After signing the bail, he planned to meet his girlfriend. The investigation also revealed that the gang, who knew this information, continued to come and kill.
