The video of a teenager who is among the dead during an operation by the Military Police (PM) carried out last Sunday night (6) in Cidade de Deus, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, went viral on social networks.

Thiago Menezes Flausino was on a motorcycle at dawn, around 00:40 am, when he was shot in the confrontation with the PM on Estrada Marechal Miguel Salazar Mendes de Moraes, according to information from the G1 portal.

Thiago’s relatives deny that the teenager was involved in criminality. According to family members, the 13-year-old was just riding a motorcycle when he was allegedly executed by the police.

“Thiaguinho was riding a motorcycle with a friend, leaving Cidade de Deus, who was already approached with a gun. A shot hit the leg, Thiaguinho fell, then we have a snippet of the image, which sees Thiago on the ground, still alive, and the policeman has just executed him”, these a teenager’s uncle.

The Military Police, who are being accused by Thiago’s relatives of tampering with the scene of the conflict, in order to make it look like there was a shootout at the time of the operation, stated that “a criminal was injured when he clashed with the police.”

“The driver loses control and both occupants fall onto the road. Fallen, the opponents began to fire several shots at the police garrison, which reacted”, says the security body, in a note.

accepted Jesus

After the repercussions of Thiago’s death, a video went viral on social networks where the teenager appears accepting Jesus Christ. “I acknowledge that I am a sinner and repent of my sins. I recognize that Jesus Christ is the son of God, the only and sufficient Savior of my life”, he says in the recording.

The presence of the young man in the church would have been the day before the confrontation with the Military Police, when he was shot dead. After declaring his faith in Christ, on the same occasion Thiago was also baptized. watch:
