jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) released the results of a survey of the preferences of the people of Demak Regency in choosing candidates for regent in the 2024 Pilkada.
This survey addresses the electability and popularity of the names of the regent candidates who have emerged or who have registered with political parties.
LKPI Executive Director Togu Lubis said the survey proved the electability level of the Demak Regent candidate in the election. Top of Mind won by candidate number 1 Teguh Sapto Utomo SH MH (businessman) with 20.9 percent.
Next, Edi Sayudi ST (DPRD member) 19.4 percent, dr Hj Eisti’anah, SE (current regent) 19.2 percent, and Ali Makhsun (current deputy regent) 7.1 percent.
Next are Fahrudin Bisri Selamet SE (Chairman of the DPRD) 5.2 percent, Singgih Setyono (former Regional Secretary of Demak) 4.7 percent, and H Maskuri S.Ag (Deputy Chairman of the DPRD) 4.1 percent.
“Other names are under two percent, and those who did not provide a choice are 10.8 percent,” said Lubis in his statement, Tuesday (9/7).
Lubis further said that LKPI also conducted a survey on the electability level of the Demak Regent candidates by simulating four candidate names with closed questions.
As a result, Teguh Sapto Utomo again won with 25.3 percent.
