The controversial name of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine once again dominated the newspapers, after the authorities entered his home in Florida and seized several of his belongings, including luxury vehicles.
According to TMZ reports, federal agents carried out an operation at his residence in Lake Worth, when the artist was not there.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office confirmed its collaboration with IRS agents on Wednesday, although no specific details about the nature of the operation were revealed.

Images obtained by the outlet show that, although Tekashi was not present, several items were seized from his property.
On the other hand, witnesses confirmed the presence of the officers, as well as the confiscation of the rapper’s assets.
“We have been told that several cars were confiscated, but we have obtained photos of at least two that were seized,” they added.

The involvement of the IRS suggests that the problems could be related to tax issues. However, the security agencies have not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
