BWeather Pleasant and without rain, the Pleitika Tel Aviv 2023 marathon started this morning (Friday). About 30 thousand runners jumped in the various stages, from 5 km, through 10 km, half marathon to the full marathon, as well as from hand bike to half marathon. The roads were already blocked from 4:00 in the morning and the surges started gradually from 6:00 onwards.

10:05 – The winner of the men’s 10 km run is Jamal Abdelmajid with 29:12 minutes, he was five seconds ahead of Shmuel Abuhai and 11 seconds ahead of Addisu Gwade, all three runners of the alley.

Ethiopian Adamo Gethon is second with 2:11:24 hours, Joshua Kemboi is third with 2:13:50 hours.
8:25 – After 30 km in the men’s marathon, Joshua Kemboi is still in the lead, in a time of 1:31:39 hours, the four cars are still together, with no escape attempt.
8:01 – The one who leads the women in the full distance and even increased the gap is Margaret Anjoguna with 1:20:03 in the half distance. Elena Tolstick is the second with 1:23:06 hours.

7:12 – Tedsa Gethon crosses the finish line first for the half marathon and wins with a time of 1:03:02 hours! Kenyan Cheboy Kipsang finished second with 1:04:28 hours, another Kenyan, Raymond Kiperono, third with 1:05:10 hours.
7:10 – After 7 km in the end of the marathon – a group of four runners – two Kenyans and two Ethiopians – is leading the race. Dominique Mebey of Haiti leads the pack with an intermediate time of 20:25 minutes. Among the women, Margaret Anjoguna leads with 25:47 minutes and ran away from permission
6:52 – The winners of the half-marathon on hand bikes cross the finish line! Meir Carmon from Beit HaLochem Tel Aviv wins with 48:34 minutes, Michael Huash second with 50:05 minutes, and Yossi Polak third with 53:26 minutes.
