New Delhi: Kavitha, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtriya Samithi Party chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao, has announced that she will go on a fast in Delhi tomorrow to demand the passage of the 33 percent reservation law for women in the current parliamentary session.

In this case, while talking to the media in Delhi today, he said that there will be a hunger strike in Delhi tomorrow, insisting on the implementation of the law providing 33 percent reservation for women in Parliament and Legislatures in the current parliamentary budget session. He also said that 18 parties have agreed to participate in his hunger strike. Kavitha also said that she is grateful for senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s support for the Women’s Reservation Act.

Responding to a question about the investigation by the Enforcement Directorate, Kavitha alleged that the BJP has entered 9 states of the country through back doors, but because it could not enter Telangana, they are using the Enforcement Directorate to investigate her for revenge. He said that he had done nothing wrong and therefore had nothing to fear from the investigation.

Background of the case: A new liquor policy was implemented in Delhi in the year 2021-22 during the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party regime. Out of which Rs. There were allegations of corruption up to 100 crores. In this case, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were arrested by the Enforcement Department. Both resigned their positions.

Amit Arora, a businessman from Delhi, was arrested in the investigation conducted by the authorities. During the interrogation conducted on him, he admitted that he had given bribes to many members of the Aam Aadmi Party through a company called ‘South Group’ in connection with the liquor policy. This ‘South Group’ company, Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter Kavitha, businessman Arun Ramachandra Pillai, YSR Congress MP. During the investigation, it was revealed that Magunda Srinivas Reddy’s son Raghav Magunda, Sarath Reddy, Abhishek and Buchibabu were in control.

Based on that, MLC Kavitha’s name appears in 28 places in the crime journal. CBI officials interrogated Kavita at her home in this regard. Following this, a summons was issued to Kavita to appear for interrogation at the Enforcement Department office in Delhi today.
