Telangana Police Arrests BJP President; Arrested while Modi is about to visit the state

Telangana BJP president and MP Bundy Sanjay Kumar has been arrested in connection with the 10th class Hindi exam question paper leak. A special police team took him into custody from his house in Karim Nagar on Tuesday midnight. The arrest came when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit Telangana on April 8.

The SSC Hindi question paper, which started at 9.30 am on Tuesday, was circulated in WhatsApp groups by 10 am. Sanjay Kumar was also allegedly involved in this and he was taken into custody.

BJP workers have protested widely against the arrest. BJP state general secretary Premender Reddy alleged that he was detained illegally and that this was a move to disrupt the Prime Minister’s visit.
