Telecom company BSNL to offer indigenously developed ‘4G’ service

by time news

Telecom company BSNL will soon launch its indigenously developed ‘4G’ services.

BSNL is the largest telecommunication company of India. The company is facing tough competition from existing private telecom companies like Reliance and Airtel. This causes a huge backlash. The Government of India is taking various measures to restore it.

In this case, steps have been taken to provide 4G service using domestic technology without the need for foreign wave lines. Arvind Vadnarkar, HR Director, BSNL said:

BSNL is set to launch its indigenously developed 4G service in the market soon. It will be a world-class 4G service. We plan to implement this service in nearly 28 thousand villages. In particular, this includes villages without mobile coverage.

In Maharashtra, 4,900 villages will be covered by 4G services. Also, BSNL will launch 5G service in a very short time. Central Government provides financial and other assistance for all our endeavours.

BSNL said that the company will start turning profit by 2026-27.

The people living in the hill villages are very much expecting that the hill villages will benefit a lot when it starts functioning.
