The Telegram messenger on the day of the decade began to introduce the possibility of publishing stories for all users. In July, stories were only open to Telegram Premium subscribers.
“Today’s gradual rollout of Stories for all users marks the beginning of this new phase in Telegram’s history,”— wrote founder of Telegram Pavel Durov.
Mr. Durov said that over the decade, the messenger managed to attract more than 800 million users only through word of mouth. The next step, he says, is to “go beyond messaging and lead social media innovation as a whole.”
