Telephone trouble with Telia

– The error that caused problems with setting up telephone calls for several of our customers has now been resolved. All our services are operating as normal. We continue to follow the situation closely going forward, and deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused for affected customers. If some customers still experience problems, it is recommended to restart the phone, says Daniel Barhom, information manager, Telia Norge, to DinSide.

Had problems

Some of Telia’s customers are experiencing problems with their phones, confirms Daniel Barhom, head of information at Telia Norge, to Dagbladet.

– I have a OneCall subscription, which uses the Telia network. Something must be wrong. When I call my wife, a completely different person answers, a caller tells Dagbladet.

Telia’s information manager Barhom confirms that several of their customers currently “may experience problems with setting up telephone calls”.

– SMS and mobile data work as normal. We have identified the error and are working hard to rectify the error, says Barhom in an SMS to Dagbladet.

Callers who couldn’t get hold of their wife this morning are wondering what the reason is.

– This is very strange. Could it be hacking? Wondering caller.

Warns price jumps

According to Telia’s information manager Barhom, they have now “identified the error”.

– We hope it will be resolved soon. We apologize so much to affected customers, says Barhom and adds:

– I can deny that it is hacking. These are technical issues and we are working hard to troubleshoot. We are very sorry for the inconvenience to affected customers.
