After the TV show’s finale, David Jackson reversed his decision. In the end, his heart belonged to another candidate.
Surprise in the RTL dome show: “Bachelor” David Jackson changed his mind again after the grand finale. As he revealed in the episode of the show that aired on Wednesday evening, he is now dating runner-up Lisa – and not winner Angelina. “It took a detour,” said the 32-year-old.
After meeting Angelina twice and both realizing that “in reality” things don’t work out between them, he called Lisa. The 32-year-old then flew to him in Dubai – and now they are a couple.
“I never got over letting Lisa go like that,” the Bachelor said. “I didn’t stop thinking about Lisa and then approached Lisa.” He was “super grateful” that she gave him another chance.

“We took it easy,” Lisa said. “It was just there, it was just that moment. We didn’t have to talk about it much, we felt it together again straight away.” The couple is currently still in a long-distance relationship, but they are both solution-oriented, the bachelor said.
The actual winner Angelina wished the two “from the bottom of my heart” all the best: “It didn’t work out for us – if it works for the two, I’m happy for them, definitely,” said the 28-year-old. “It’s all great now.”
Viewers of the RTL + streaming service had already seen last week that Bachelor David had chosen Angelia first. On linear television, the finale aired just yesterday. The reunion of the candidates, which RTL showed immediately afterwards, had not previously been seen on the streaming portal.
The Stuttgart native is not the first RTL “Bachelor” to revise his final decision in a timely manner. In 2021, Niko Griesert gave candidate Mimi his last rose – only to meet runner-up Michèle shortly afterwards.
