jpnn.comBALI – The Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2024 was officially opened by Telkom Commissioner Marcelino Pandin, Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah and Telin Chief Executive Officer Budi Satria Dharma Purba at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali on Wednesday, (28/8).
Carrying the theme Cultivating The Sustainable Digital Ecosystem, BATIC 2024 reflects the commitment of PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom), through its subsidiary PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), to increase the role of the telecommunications industry in driving sustainable innovation.
Telin acts as an extension of TelkomGroup for wholesale and international business with 10 global representative offices and sales representatives in 5 countries.
The annual event will take place over four days, from 27-30 August 2024, with around 1,300 participants representing around 450 global companies from 40 countries attending BATIC 2024 in its ninth edition, making BATIC the largest international telecommunications conference in Southeast Asia and beyond.
The first day of the BATIC 2024 conference raised the theme Shaping the Future of Global Connectivityexplores how changing market demands and the influence of technological developments are transforming digital infrastructure globally, featuring speakers from industry players and global telco experts.
In his presentation, Ririek Adriansyah raised the topic Enabling Sustainable Digital Transformation.
Technological developments present opportunities for telecommunications companies to innovate, but still adhere to the principle of sustainability.
This is to build a better future and provide added value for stakeholders, so that it not only supports the growth of the digital economy but also contributes to the progress and development of the nation as a whole.
