This is how Ciccio Lancia jokes in the introduction to Temptation Island, the Mediaset program that airs on Canale 5 every Tuesday night and which began its autumn edition on September 10th.
On the day of the first episode, Ciccio Lancia and Chiara Galeazzi dedicate a segment of their Chiacchiericcio, the show they host on Radio DEEJAY every weekday from 7 PM to 8 PM, to create profiles (fictional and ironic) of the participating couples.

Temptation Island, who are the couples according to Ciccio Lancia and Chiara Galeazzi
The couples of Temptation Island described with irony by Ciccio Lancia reflect some stereotypes of the program and its past editions.
Reminding that this is satire (and that none of the couples described below are inspired by real participants), Ciccio Lancia introduces his participants in Temptation Island with Marilena and Giordano Bruno:
They have been together since 2015 because she lost a bet. They got into the BDSM scene in 2020 so, despite Covid restrictions, she could walk him around with a collar. He is a bit jealous and has gifted her underwear that can only be removed with his iris. Giordano Bruno is afraid that Marilena will take him to the bonfire for obvious reasons. They are at Temptation Island because they hope to understand the future of their relationship from the designs on Filippo Bisciglia’s shirts.
The couples of Temptation Island continue in Chiacchiericcio with Silvia and Filippo:
They were supposed to get married in January but Filippo didn’t know it. He is a heartthrob, in the sense that he has spent six years in organ trafficking, while she has a shop where she sells jewelry made from the ivory of the horns that Filippo put on her. It’s no coincidence that Filippo has already cheated on her nine times; not by coincidence in the sense that he took aim very well. After nine betrayals, they are at Temptation Island to see if it’s true that on the tenth you get a free kebab.
The satire of Ciccio Lancia then describes an unusual couple, that of Sister Paola and Don Luigi, 74 and 75 years old:
They met at a party for Cardinal Ravasi at the last Jubilee and since then they have not separated. He complains that they have little sex, especially during Lent, and she suspects infidelity since she found lipstick stains on his communion chalice.
Among the participants of Temptation Island, the hosts of Chiacchiericcio also tell the story of Ziandra and Foleco:
They met at the festival of absurd names 15 years ago. Ziandra is a successful entrepreneur who succeeded in her business through hard work and her billionaire father. Foleco wishes for Ziandra to move in with him, but she doesn’t want to, especially because he lives in a cardboard box at the central station. She doesn’t trust him since he, after a shipwreck, was left alone on a deserted island and, by tracing gigantic letters in the sand, was chatting with the pilot of a plane. They are at Temptation Island because they weren’t selected for Ciao Darwin 12 in the team of idiots.
The couples of Temptation Island also leave space for… less than human relationships, like that of Bobby and Brigitta:
Two golden retrievers who have been together since 2017, which in dog years would actually be 21. She says he is a bastard and can’t stand that he goes around sniffing the rear ends of other female dogs; he would like 15 or 16 puppies from her all at once. Once Bobby cheated on Brigitta with a dead cat, a horrible thing but they are animals… What can you do? They go to Temptation Island because doing it in the middle of the street isn’t the strangest thing you can do there.
Temptation Island 2024, the couples
Of course, as was said, the previous profiles are fictional and somewhat based on the stereotypes of some of the participants from past editions of the program.
Irony aside, this year the audience has discovered the couples of the participants of Temptation Island, who go to the island to test the stability of their relationship.
Let’s review all the true contestants of Temptation Island September 2024, analyzing the couples and how long they have been together:
Michele and Millie: they have been dating for 1 year and 10 months
Alfonso and Federica: dating for 8 years, living together for one.
Fabio and Sara: dating for one year, they have a long-distance relationship (he in Calabria, she in Ravenna).
Anna and Alfred: dating for 1 year and 9 months.
Diandra and Valerio: dating for 8 years, living together for 7.
Titty and Antonio: dating for 3 years, living together for 1. She accepted the marriage proposal made during a trip to Paris.
Mirco and Giulia: dating for 9 years, living together for 3.
Temptation Island, the episodes
As mentioned, Temptation Island in its autumn version airs every Tuesday evening at 9:25 PM.
The first episode was broadcast on Tuesday, September 10th, with the following episodes airing on the 17th and 24th. In October, the last three episodes will air: the first on the 1st, the 8th, and the 15th.
For now, no special episodes of Temptation Island autumn are planned. The one on October 15th should therefore be the last. Unless, of course, the characters invented by Ciccio and Chiara come into play.
