The weather on Tuesday August 15 will be marked by thunderstorms as well as by high temperatures in part of the country, announces Météo-France.

Météo-France announces for Tuesday August 15 a weather marked by a stormy diagonal from New Aquitaine to the Great East and strong heat in the Center East. In fact, Dordogne, Corrèze, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne are placed on orange storm vigilance, while Ain, Rhône, Isère, Savoie and Haute -Savoie are for heat wave.

Heavy rain storms are expected in southern Limousin, Périgord and northern Occitanie, with average hailstorms and gusts of wind up to 70-80 km / h. In the departments in heat wave orange vigilance, the maximum can reach 36°C. A new episode of more intense heat wave is expected from Friday in the South-East, according to Météo-France.

Up to 36°C in the Rhône and in PACA

The weather will remain very cloudy from the north of Aquitaine to Auvergne to the Great East, with fairly frequent rainy and stormy periods. A lull will emerge in the afternoon over the South-West but a new stormy salvo will arrive in the night. From the south of Aquitaine to the south of Occitanie, the sky will also be cloudy but will give at most a few drops.

From Brittany to Pays de la Loire to Hauts-de-France and the Ardennes, the weather will become drier again with fine clearings. From PACA to the Rhône-Alpes region and in the Jura, sun and heat will persist, with a few isolated showers in the afternoon on the border Alps.

Minimum temperatures will be between 12 and 16 degrees in the North-West, from 16 to 20 everywhere else and up to 21-22 in Rhône-Alpes, Roussillon and Corsica. The maximum will oscillate between 20 and 25 degrees from Brittany to Nord-Pas-de-Calais, between 25 and 30 everywhere else, up to 34-36 in the Rhône Valley and PACA.
