Football before cycling. Before getting into cycling, Jonas Vingegaard started out playing football and then started competing on two wheels at the age of eleven.
Fish factory. The Dane, who has not yet signed a professional contract, earns his living by working in a fish factory on the port of Hanstholm from six in the morning until noon. A triumphant return to Denmark. After winning the 2022 Tour de France, Jonas Vingegaard returned to his country by private jet, escorted by two Air Force fighter jets. 70,000 people gathered in Copenhagen to celebrate his victory in the Great Loop and 20,000 were present in his hometown, Hillerslev, a few days later to celebrate the hero.
