Many organizations operating on the European continent, along with some universal international organizations, are experiencing a crisis.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev told reporters within the framework of participation in the XI Global Baku Forum on the topic “Restoring a Fractured World”.

“In PACE there is a process of strengthening tendencies of Islamophobia, racism and discrimination. We observe the predominance of such tendencies there instead of holding fair discussions, discussions aimed at solving the problems existing in Europe,” Hajiyev said.

It should be noted that the XI Global Baku Forum is attended by representatives of many countries, as well as prestigious international organizations: more than 350 guests from more than 70 countries.

The Forum, which will last until March 16, will host global discussions on the results of COP28 and preparations for COP29, factors that create threats to the new world order, as well as security issues and prospects for ensuring peace, building sustainability in a fragmented world, its impact on the global world, ways to solve the challenges facing humanity will be discussed, conflicts and mega-threats shaking the world will be discussed, including climate, food and nuclear security issues. At the same time, there will be discussions on the role of military and economic alliances in global governance, regional perspectives, the European Union and its relations with its neighbors, youth policy, ways to increase resilience to global challenges, inequality, natural resource scarcity and migration issues, artificial intelligence, and also new security paradigms in the era of drones and cyber weapons.
