New ground in Bangalore
A new cricket academy with additional facilities is being set up in Bangalore, Karnataka.
The National Cricket Academy, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has been operating at the Chinnaswamy Cricket Ground in Bangalore since 2000.
The main mission of the National Cricket Academy is to train young players and provide treatment and coaching for injured players.
The new National Cricket Academy will be set up on 40 acres at Devanahalli in Bangalore with additional facilities. The land has been leased by the Cricket Board for 99 years.
