Russian tennis players with the participation of the second number of the world rating Daniil Medvedev and the fifth number – Andrei Rublev – won the Davis Cup for the third time in their history. As reported on Sunday, December 5, the sports news agency SID, the Russians, who knocked the German national team out of the tournament in the semifinals, only had two single matches for a general victory over the Croats. The final took place in Madrid. Aslan Karatsev, who together with Andrei Rublev was announced for the pair match, did not have to go to court.

Success of Russian tennis players – Billie Jean King Cup

Thus, the men’s team supported the success of the women’s team consisting of Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Daria Kasatkina, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Veronica Kudermetova and Lyudmila Samsonova, won the Billie Jean King Cup in Prague on November 6 for the first time in 13 years.
