Already disappointments among the tenord at the end of the second day of the first round of the US Open tennis. The Russian Karen Khachanov, 11th player in the world, fell to the American Michael Mmoh in 3 sets, while the French Caroline Garcia, semi-finalist in 2022, was dismissed by the Chinese Wang Yafan. The world No. 1, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, qualified after abandoning his opponent, the German Dominik Koepfer.
