jpnn.comBANDUNG – As many as 42 thousand runners from all over Indonesia took part in a joint running event in Bandung City, both in person and online.
There are four categories in the running activity entitled ‘Pocari Sweat Run Bandung 2024’, namely 5 kilometers (km), 10 km, half marathonuntil full marathon.
Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka Puspita Winawati said that this year’s Pocari Run Bandung was the 11th time.
The enthusiasm of participants who want to join the offline run continues to increase every year.
In fact, this year’s running activities in Bandung were divided into two days to avoid a buildup of runners in the four categories.
“We were last year offline “In Bandung, it reached 11 thousand people, now it has been increased to 15 thousand people and divided into two days to limit the runners for comfort,” said Wina in a press conference at Gedung Sate, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City, Sunday (21/7).
Wina said that before the 2020 Covid pandemic, the running event usually had no more than 10 thousand participants.
In 2019, Pocari Run Bandung was attended by 10 thousand participants from various regions. This number had decreased in 2020 due to the pandemic, where only 4,186 participated virtually.
Actress couple Raffi Ahmad – Nagita Slavina took part in the running event together with Pocari Run Bandung 2024 in Bandung City.
