Miltos Tentoglou secured third place in the long jump with a jump of 8.15m, which he achieved on his sixth and final attempt, at the Diamond League finals in Brussels.
The “gold” Olympic champion struggled to find his rhythm in the first jumps, which measured 6.81m and 5.97m, had a no-jump on the third, while he continued with jumps of 7.76m, 7.83m, and 8.15m.
Simon Ehammer achieved 8.16m on his sixth jump, pushing the Greek athlete to third place, while the winner was the 2019 world champion Tajay Gayle with a jump of 8.28m, setting a season record.
The athlete coached by George Pomaski ended the year with three significant victories in both indoor and outdoor competitions, with the highlight being his win at the Paris Olympic Games, confirming his dominance in the event.
We remind you that Tentoglou won the Diamond League in 2022 at the Zurich finals.
