The police do not want to comment further on the case yet, they are looking for witnesses to a violent crime, police spokesman Kamil Marek said earlier. According to the iDNES.cz server, the victim was a Ukrainian who had bleeding in the brain as a result of a punctured skull.
“I can confirm that the injured man succumbed to his injuries despite the best efforts of the doctors and paramedics at the hospital,” said Mrákotová. The incident should have happened when the victim was hit in the head with a stick by someone and fell. The police are investigating whether he died as a result of a blow to the head or by falling to the ground.
The incident took place outside the Luna Dance Club on the night of Sunday August 13 between 3.25am. “In connection with this case, regional crime investigators are asking for the public’s cooperation in searching for possible witnesses to this event. These are the persons in the footage and photographs,” added Marek.
The witnesses the police are looking for can be identified in the video published on the police website. Those who recognize themselves in the picture are asked by the police to come forward and help them solve the case. The police are also asking people who were at the scene of the crime at the time and who could provide relevant information about the case to contact 158 or the nearest police station.
