Several regional trains were canceled on Tuesday morning April 11 in Brittany due to the presence on the tracks of demonstrators protesting against the pension reform, the regional communication of the National Society of Railways told Agence France-Presse. French railway (SNCF).
“Around 6 a.m., people were present on the tracks at Morlaix, Guingamp and Landerneau stations. There have been train cuts”said a regional spokeswoman for the railway company.
Photos on social media showed protesters with smoke bombs and banners waving anti-government slogans.
“There is a gradual recovery in traffic”said the SNCF around 8 a.m.
