The ‘riders’ Teresa Fernández-Miranda and Daniel Peñafiel have been proclaimed Spanish champions of BMX Freestyle Park, a championship that was held within the framework of the Extreme Barcelona urban sports festival in Barcelona.

Fernández-Miranda dominated with ease in the elite women’s category and took the title after completing a round that gave her 71.34 points. Mar Esquer, who added 28.17 points, finished second, while Rebeca Dávila, with 27.84 points, completed the podium.

In the elite men’s category, Daniel Peñafiel responded to his favoritism with a great round of 75.67 points, surpassing Pol Díaz, with 64.67 points, and Tomy Verney, with 64.00 points, second and third respectively.

In addition, the Spanish Championship was also held in the junior men’s category, where Pau Sala, with 76.33 points, was proclaimed the winner after a very tight competition in which Javitxu de la Torre, with 74.00 points, and Julen Arenaza, With 67.67 points, they finished in second and third position.
