The Association of Businesswomen and Directors of Bizkaia (AED) has awarded its 2023 Business Awards to the president of Ingeteam, Teresa Madariaga, the CEO of Sophie et Voilà, Saioa Goitia, and Ormazabal, a Velatia Group company. The winners will receive their prizes on November 29 at an event that will be held in Bilbao and will be attended by authorities and representatives of companies and society in Bizkaia.
In this edition, the jury has awarded two businesswomen and executives for their “remarkable career, a reference for the rest of the business community and citizens”, as well as a business group “exemplary in the implementation of processes and policies in their companies that have “allowed the full and effective incorporation of women into the business fabric.”
These awards seek to “highlight the extraordinary role that businesswomen, entrepreneurs and managers play in society, in addition to raising awareness among the business community and public opinion about the need to achieve the integration of women in companies as a basic condition for a sustainable economic and social environment,” according to the president of the AED, Isabel Iturbe.
