Almost six years have passed since Terminal X was launched, and during this time it managed to become one of the Israelis’ favorite destinations for online shopping – thanks to the fast deliveries, the variety of brands and the ease of operation and returns.

Now the Fox-Weasel Group’s empire is expanding beyond the virtual borders with the first concept store – Terminal X Space in Azrieli Sharona. This may sound like a step backwards, because most of us have already gotten used to doing our shopping from the armchair at home, but it is evident that the network invested quite a bit of thought and resources to create an impressive and unique physical store, which is backed by innovative technologies and corresponds with its beating heart – the website.

The new store is spread over 1,200 square meters – 3 floors designed as a futuristic airport. The lower floor serves as a kind of spacious lobby where huge screens are scattered that present the brand ambassadors and the outstanding collections, along with artistic displays in which items sold online are integrated. From there you can climb up to the floor The second has escalators designed like an airplane sleeve, and contains the women’s and children’s departments, including brands such as Mango, Polo Ralph Lauren, Free People, Uniqlo, etc. On the third and last floor are the sports and men’s departments.

Beyond the polished and up-to-date design, which would not embarrass any store on Fifth Avenue in New York, the uniqueness of Terminal X Space undoubtedly lies in the RFID technology. Without making any effort at all, she accompanies the customer throughout the stages of the purchase and makes the experience easier and more pleasant, and especially adapted to 2023. For example, as soon as the garment is hung on the hanger in the dressing room, the relevant page on the site is projected on the screen in the room, allowing you to see the availability of sizes and colors and send a link to your mobile phone.

The RFID technology also proves to be useful at the checkout, where you can simply stack the items and they are automatically scanned together, instead of transferring each barcode separately.

Another useful gimmick is integrated into the display – as in all major chains, the clothes in the store are organized according to “stories” – groups of items that compliment and integrate with each other. Here, each such group of items is projected on a nearby screen, and by scanning the QR code on it you can reach a page on the website that brings together all the items of the relevant mini-collection, in case you want to complete the purchase there.
