A dramatic road accident occurred this Saturday evening in the Loire. Two cars have entered in collision on the A47 near Dargoire, between Saint-Étienne and Givors, reports France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Around 7 p.m. on February 3, a vehicle with a family on board and another, occupied by five young womenare hit violently. Under the power of the impact, their car was thrown onto the roof.
Killed instantly
The four young passengers, aged 18, 19 and 20have been killed instantly.
The driver, seriously injured, was transported to Lyon Sud hospital in absolute emergency, her vital prognosis is engaged.
The father, at the wheel of the first vehicle, the mother, as well as several witnesses to the scene in a state of shock were taken care of by emergency services.
An investigation was opened in order to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.
Traffic on the A47 had to be cut off for several hours in the direction of Lyon, to allow emergency services to intervene.
