In the final communiqué sanctioning the work of its 5th national congress, held on February 9 and 10, the PAM called on all party activists to “be more vigilant and to continue mobilizing behind the Sovereign to continue to tirelessly defend our just causes, and thwart all maneuvers that take multiple forms.”
The party also welcomed the Kingdom’s achievements in the social field towards the consecration of the social state with its main pillars, namely quality education, decent housing, efficient health services and employment guaranteeing dignity.
In this sense, the document noted that the Kingdom is living under the rhythm of “historic reforms” and is experiencing, despite unprecedented constraints, a real policy combining the promotion of public investment, incentives for private companies, and the realization of major projects, in addition to improving the social situation of all Moroccans.
Morocco is working to implement reforms aimed at accelerating the pace of work relating to certain issues, in particular projects relating to the supply of drinking water, the settlement of the file of contract teachers, the generalization of social protection, direct social assistance and housing assistance, the press release details.
According to the same source, the work of this congress, in which more than 3,000 congressmen from all over the Kingdom took part, was marked by a responsible and in-depth debate on the various challenges facing our country in general, and the party in particular.
It should be noted that the work of the 5th national congress of the PAM was also marked by the election of Najwa Koukouss as president of the National Council of the party, as well as the election of the members of the collegiate presidency of the General Secretariat of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, which includes Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, outgoing president of the National Council of the Authenticity and Modernity party, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, member of the Political Bureau of the party, and Salaheddine Aboulghali, parliamentarian of the constituency of Médiouna in Casablanca.
