The explosion occurred between Nasaralabenu provinces in the north-central part of Nigeria. In this, 54 people including herdsmen and civilians were killed.
It is not known who carried out the blast. It is noteworthy that there has been conflict between herdsmen and farmers in north-central Nigeria.
Abdullahi, governor of Nasarala province, said, “We are meeting with security agencies to ensure that the tension that may arise from this incident is mitigated.”
