Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman said that after the fall of the Awami dictatorial ruling group in the students’ movement, the miscreants have continued one terrorist act after another to create an unstable situation in the country. The conspirators are engaged in various mischief to destabilize the interim government.
He also believed that the brutal killing of army personnel Tanjim Charwar Nirjan by the miscreants while on duty on Monday (September 23) night was a continuation of that.
Acting Chairman of BNP said these things in a statement expressing deep concern and grief over the brutal killing of Lt. Tanjim Charwar on Tuesday (September 24).
In the statement, Tariq Rahman said that by killing a young officer of the army, the miscreants revealed their location. If these miscreants cannot be suppressed with strict hands, the safety of the lives and property of the people of the country will be under extreme threat. The conspirators are bent on profiting by creating chaos in the country. That is why people from all walks of life should be united to ensure peace, stability and security of people in the country along with the establishment of democracy.
The Acting Chairman of BNP strongly condemned and protested the killing of Tanjim Charwar Nirjan and called for the arrest of the miscreants and exemplary punishment. He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and wished for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace.
Incidentally, on Monday (September 23) night, Md. was stabbed by the perpetrators while on duty in East Maijpara area of Dulahazara Union of Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. An army lieutenant named Tanjim Charwar Nirjan was killed.
