TREASURE. A violent fire completely destroyed a barn in Tesero. But fortunately, the two nearby homes were saved, thanks to the speed and ability of the firefighters, who intervened in their dozens in the Fiemme center to stem the advance of the fire.
The alarm was raised around 1.45 yesterday at the beginning of Via dei Molini, near the crossroads that, at the height of the bridge over the Rio Stava, allows you to take the provincial road that goes up to Pampeago from the Dolomiti state road.
The barn that was on fire was located next to one of the houses that are located immediately below street level: the alarm was raised by some residents who, after having dialed 112 allowing the operators of the single emergency center to mobilize the firefighters, immediately made sure that the people who were in the houses near the barn were safe.
Of particular concern were the conditions of the family – mother, father and two children – whose home is located next to the barn, sharing one of its walls, a couple and their two children who were already out of their home.
The volunteer firefighters of the Tesero corps reached via dei Molini in a few moments, supported shortly after also by the volunteers of the Cavalese corps, in action with the ladder truck, of Panchià, Ziano and Carano, while the permanent firefighters also went up from Trento.
More than sixty firefighters had to work until almost 4 in the morning before finally getting the better of the blaze, which completely destroyed the structure, made of wood and sheet metal.
