Iran has experienced labor pains as Keating Sherry prepares to take his three – year – old son to school. Keating immediately put his wife in the car and drove to the hospital. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Keating has switched to autopilot mode to take care of his son and his wife, who is in labor, in the back seat of a car.
“It was a busy time on Lancaster Avenue, and the Keating car was moved to autopilot mode to drive so that the son in the back seat could take care of his son and his wife,” the report said. Within 20 minutes of arriving at the hospital, Yarin gave birth to a baby girl in Tesla’s car. When she arrived at the hospital, a pediatrician came out and cut the baby’s umbilical cord in the front seat. The baby, named Meow Lily, was nicknamed “Tesla Baby” by the hospital’s nurses. According to the report, many of the hospital staff went into Iran’s room and asked if he had given birth in the car. The couple said they considered adding the word ‘Tess’ to their daughter’s name because Tesla was born in a car.

The Tesla car was already in the news due to safety concerns. Two people were killed earlier this year in an accident involving a Tesla car. According to a preliminary report by authorities, no one was in the driver’s seat of the car. One of the occupants of the car was in the front seat and the other in the back seat.
