Tesla has introduced a new branded accessory – the Wireless Charging Platform, which is designed for wireless charging of smartphones and other electronics. Reception of pre-orders is already open on the official website of the company. The $300 accessory comes with a USB Type-C cable, a 65W power adapter, and a detachable magnetic stand. Deliveries of the device to customers will begin in February 2023.

The charging station, whose design is inspired by the futuristic Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck, is made of aluminum and decorated with Alcantara. The accessory supports wireless charging up to 15W, up to three devices that are compatible with the Qi standard can be charged at the same time.

According to Tesla, the platform has 30 charging coils located across the entire surface of the accessory, which allows you to start charging devices in any position on the Wireless Charging Platform. Apple planned to implement a similar solution in the proprietary AirPower charging station, but could not solve technical problems with the device and canceled its release.
