Since this date, around a hundred people have visited the service to have their electronic identity card (CNIe) certified by submitting their fingerprints. Fifteen other municipalities in the department* have since volunteered for the experiment carried out, for the moment, only in the communities of Hauts-de-Seine, Eure-et-Loir and Rhône. “In one month, between mid-November and mid-December, 700 requests were recorded in Hauts-de-Seine, compared to 60 in Eure-et-Loir and 200 in the Rhône,” rejoices Benoît Trévisani, the sub-prefect of Boulogne-Billancourt.
