Tetouan: Kick-off of the 13th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour show jumping

Organized by the Morocco Royal Tour Foundation, under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), this stage will see the running of 13 events, including 7 Grand Prix (4*), with the participation of the most important Moroccan and international riders, in addition to two night competitions.

The program of this sporting competition, the highlight of which is the Prize of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan (1.55 m/4*), includes the Prize of the FRMSE (1.45 m/4*), the Prize of the Royal Guard (1.40 m/4*), the Prize of Dakhla (1.50 m/4*), and the Prize of the Green March (1.45 m/4*).

The first day of this competition was marked by the running of two events of categories 1* and 4*. Thus, the rider Majid Djaidi, riding “Jewelbridge” won the Prix d’Oued Draa (1.25 m/1*), while the French rider Alix Ragot riding “Gold Sky de Pegase” won the Prix de l’Indépendance (1.40 m/4*).

The Morocco Royal Tour is a must-see event on the international equestrian calendar. Its appeal comes from the fact that it is a unique idea.

In fact, it is an international show jumping circuit that takes place over three weekends, in three different cities.

The three stages of this edition will be held from September 19 to 22 in Tetouan, from September 26 to 29 in Rabat and from October 3 to 6 in El Jadida on the occasion of the International Horse Show.

The 13th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour will be marked by the holding of 40 events, including 13 counting towards the FEI Longines world ranking, 3 Grand Prix (4*) qualifying for the World Cup and 18 prizes (1*).

In addition, the Rabat stage of the MRT will see the organization of the Show Jumping Nations Cup.
