The agreement, signed during a study day on the urban planning sector, aims to implement the provisions of the framework agreement between the Ministry of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy and the Ministry of the Interior, relating to the simplification of building permit procedures in rural areas.
The Tangier Urban Agency stressed in a press release that it had “deployed significant efforts in this area, resulting in the approval of six douar delimitation plans in its area of competence, including three in the province of Tetouan, two in the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq and one in the province of Chefchaouen”.
In this context, the press release adds, this partnership agreement comes into effect with the objective of developing plans for upgrading three douars, namely Rouass in the commune of Saddina (province of Tetouan), Bni Mzala Essafli in the commune of Belyounech, as well as Tacha in the commune of Al Allyene (prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq).
