In every context there is often one: the mascot. That animal that everyone knows, that with its peculiarities makes everyone love it. Similarly to what we see in many American films in which it is the dog that brings home the newspaper, the same thing happens with Bingoand Stray dog walking with newspaper in mouth on the streets of Houston, Texas. This is how he was seen by the volunteers of the NGO Corridor Rescue: Bingo was a stray, so the volunteers adopted him.
Texas, the two diseases
It was immediately understood that the new friend was suffering from two diseases that compromised his life, parvovirus and scabies. After various medical treatments, carried out by volunteers, he defeated the pathologies and received the attention of the population who brought him as gifts everything he needed, from the kennel, to the blankets to the games and other companions. In a short time he won everyone over, becoming the NGO starthe mascot also much appreciated by the regulars.
A new family
Another obstacle that little Bingo had to face was finding a family that could give him all the attention and care he deserved. The undertaking was difficult despite the popularity he boasted and that he had acquired over time. However, too often potential interested parties preferred younger or purebred dogs, making the wait longer. Finally, like love at first sight, Bingo has won over a Minnesota family who, fascinated by his story, decided to give him a new life. What made the family fall in love was his appearance, his story and his strength of spirit that convinced them to adopt him and rename him Chanceperfectly in line with the new life he was starting in his new home.
