Teymur Musaev about the condition of three victims brought from Aktau to Baku

On December 25, 17 Azerbaijani citizens were injured as a result of the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane in Kazakhstan. Until today, three of the victims continued treatment in Kazakhstan.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev announced this today.

“President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave an order, and two special medical planes were sent to the city of Aktau. Three citizens of our country were taken to Baku and continue treatment in the intensive care unit at Yeni Klinika. The condition of all of them is serious and stable,” the minister noted.

Let us recall that on board the crashed Embraer 190 aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), operating flight J2-8243 Baku-Grozny, there were 62 passengers, 5 crew members, a total of 67 people. As a result of the incident, 38 people were killed and 29 were injured.

The aircraft’s “black box” has been discovered and procedures are being carried out to analyze it in accordance with international aviation conventions. An investigation into the causes of the disaster is currently underway. Final conclusions will be made after completion of all necessary studies and data analysis.
