Bangkok: The postmortem report of the late Australian spin legend Shane Warne has been released. Thai police say Vaughn’s death is not unusual. Vaughan was found dead in a villa in Thailand last Friday night, according to Thai police. Suspicion was raised that blood droplets were found on Vaughn’s body and in the room.

Police Lt. Gen. Surchate Hawkpan said the post-mortem report would be scrutinized by investigators and a final report on the death would be submitted. Hawkphone said police had examined all possible causes of Vaughan’s death in detail and found no abnormalities.

Shane Warne, 52, was found dead in a villa in Thailand last Friday night. Vaughn arrived in Thailand with friends for a holiday and treatment. Doctors said the cause of death was a heart attack. Tom Hall, a friend who was with Vaughn, said he saw nothing unusual in Vaughn’s room and that Vaughn was lying unconscious on the floor when he entered the room next door.

Hall explained that he was unaware that Vaughn had any health problems and that he had told a friend that he had minor chest pains and shortness of breath. The family also reported that Vaughn had asthma problems.

Vaughan’s body will be flown to Australia in two to three weeks, after which he will be laid to rest at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Vaughan, who has taken 708 wickets in Test cricket, is the second highest wicket-taker of all time in Tests.
