Thalassery: Five accused in the Thalassery double murder case have been remanded in custody for three days. The first accused is Suresh Babu alias Parai Babu (47) in Nettoor Velladath house, his brother-in-law is Jackson Wilson (28) in Muttangal House near Nettoor Chirakkavu, and the third accused is K in Nitoor Vannathan house. Naveen (32), the fourth accused Muhammed Farhan (29) of Suharasil, Parakattu, Vadakkumpat, and the fifth accused, Sujith Kumar (45) of Vazhayil, Patannakara, Pinarayi, were remanded in custody by the Thalassery Judicial First Class Magistrate Court.

Seven accused have been arrested in the case so far. The 6th accused P. in the house of Terekkat in Parakattu, Vadakumpad. Arunkumar (38), 7th accused Pinarayi East in Pudukkudy House, E.K. Sandeep (38) was questioned last week. Both of them helped the main accused Parai Babu to escape. Last 23rd at 4 pm in front of the co-operative hospital at Thalassery Venus Kavala, K. Khalid (52) and brother-in-law Poovanazhi Shamir (45) were stabbed to death.
