Kannur> The Happiness International Film Festival kicks off at Thaliparam, providing a glimpse of the diversity of contemporary life. Director Adoor Gopalakrishnan will inaugurate the fair on December 19. 31 films in the categories of World Cinema, Indian and Malayalam Cinema will be screened in the Mela over three days. The film festival is organized at Classic, Alinkil and Motammal Mall.
Online registration for the fair has started. The registration fee is Rs 300 for general category and Rs 150 for students. The International Film Festival is organized under the auspices of the Kerala Film Academy as part of the Happiness Festival. The film festival is organized as a regional fest of IFFK. All films from IFFK’s competition category and Malayalam film category will be screened as part of the film festival. As part of the film festival, there will be an open forum every day.
