Kochi : Tovino Thomas film Thallumala dominates the box office collection. A month after the release of the film, the makers have released the official collection report of Thallumala while preparing for the OTT release. Tovino Thomas has collected Rs 71.36 crores in 30 days globally. The film directed by Khalid Rahman hit the theaters on August 12.
Outside of India, the film was released in GCC countries, US, Canada, UK, Singapore and other European countries. It was reported that the film earned around 50 crores in the first week itself. The film, which will complete its 30-day run, is slated for an OTT release on September 11 through Netflix.

The film received mixed reactions upon its initial release. But later it became a huge hit. The songs of the film have played a major role behind this success. And the making of the film is one of the things that the audience takes and says. The picture is a garland of beats. The making video of the theater fight scene in the film had gone viral. Everyone is of the opinion that Thallumala is a movie with repeat value.
Thallumala is a film directed by Khalid Rahman and written by Muhsin Parari Ashraf Hamza. Tovino Thomas, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shine Tom Chacko played the lead roles in the film. The song Ole Melody from the film became a huge hit. Actor Salimkumar also appears in some parts of the song. The lyrics of the song are penned by Muhsin Perari, who wrote the screenplay of the film. The song has been sung by Haricharan Seshadri, Benny Dayal, Salim Kumar and Vishnu Vijay.

Music direction is by Vishnu Vijay. The song is beautifully composed with sitar, tabla and dolak. The film is produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner Ashiq Usman Productions. The cinematographer of the film is Jimshi Khalid.
