Vikram Kumar’s Telugu film Thank You with Naga Chaitanya in the lead was a big flop. The first week collection of the Rs 40 crore film is just Rs 3 crore. This is the lowest collection ever for a Naga Chaitanya film.
Trade analysts predict that this film will be the biggest flop in Tollywood this year. Like Chiranjeevi did for Acharya, the makers are preparing to premiere this film in OTT soon.
The film hit theaters on July 22 and Naga Chaitanya’s fans abandoned it on the very first day. Andhra Box Office tweeted that the makers will incur an additional loss of around 15 crores due to the theatrical release.
Thank You is directed by Vikram Kumar, who produced Suriya’s 24 and Nani’s Gang Leader. Along with Naga Chaitanya, Rashi Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor are also playing the lead roles.
