Tharoor issue, ‘MK Raghavan not right to be complainant’: Rajmohan Unnithan to withdraw

Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader Rajmohan Unnithan said that AK Raghavan MP should not go ahead with the complaint on the Tharoor issue. It is not correct that AK Raghavan is the complainant. There are District Congress Committees in all 14 districts of Kerala. Rajmohan Unnithan said that if Shashi Tharoor wants to participate in the event, if he informs them, they will accept. Today MK Raghavan MP stated that he will file a complaint to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi demanding an inquiry into the incident of Youth Congress withdrawing from the seminar attended by Tharoor in Kozhikode.

MK Raghavan MP said that the incident is very serious and KPCC commission should be appointed to investigate the matter. Raghavan had stated that he is ready to give evidence if the commission of inquiry is appointed, otherwise he will have to disclose what he knows. Shashi Tharoor also demanded an inquiry into the incident in which the Youth Congress withdrew. Tharoor said that unnecessary controversy should not have been created. Both expressed their stand at a seminar on secularism and Sangh Parivar organized by the Nehru Foundation. The Nehru Foundation organized the event in a situation where the Youth Congress withdrew.

Shashi Tharoor started his visit to North Kerala by visiting MT Vasudevan Nair this morning. Tharoor will participate in more than 20 events in four days. Tharoor will also hold talks with Muslim League leaders in Panakkatte on Tuesday.
