Mumbai’s captain Ajinkya Rahane scored a stunning double century in the Ranji Trophy. The player scored 204 runs from 261 balls against Hyderabad. His innings included 26 fours and three sixes.
Now the Indian senior batsman has revealed what his goal is. Rahane openly said that his goal is to return to the Indian team. The player has been out of the Indian team for some time due to his poor form.
Rahane revealed his goal while talking to the media after the match. “My current dream is to play for India. That’s why I will never admit defeat.
Along with that dream, I want Mumbai to win every match and perform well,” said Rahane. In the first innings against Hyderabad, Mumbai scored a huge score of 651 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Along with Rahana’s double century, Jaiswal (162), Sarfaraz Khan (126) and Surya Kumar Yadav (90) also found the best score.
