The exhibition ‘That Time’, with works Francis Bacon and Francisco de Goya and other artists from the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao, closes tomorrow, Sunday, with record attendance at Tabakalera with 40,000 visitors since it opened its doors on June 22 . The general director of Tabakalera, Edurne Ormazabal, valued yesterday that “the collaboration between both institutions (Tabakalera and Bellas Artes de Bilbao) has resulted in a proposal that provides a new and contemporary look at the museum’s excellent collection, which has connected, without a doubt, with the visitors.

Tabakalera has organized for the closing a double session of contemporary dance by the creator and performer Blanca Arrieta. The artist will repeat her choreographic intervention ‘Eso’ developed within the framework of a creation residency held in July at Tabakalera itself and designed for the exhibition. The sessions will be today and tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. in the exhibition hall on the first floor and you will have to register in advance on the Tabakalera website.

Likewise, Tabakalera maintains its program of commented ‘flash’ visits to the exhibition for this weekend, which consist of a brief approach to the exhibition and offer the necessary context to visit it. The visits will be today and tomorrow in Basque at 12:30 and 18:00, and in Spanish at 12:45 and 18:15, and to enjoy them it will not be necessary to register.
