Former Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee says the money seized from Arpita Mukherjee’s residence in connection with the teaching recruitment scam case is not hers. He said that he has no share in the property recovered from his close follower Arpita’s house and he has no income.(that’s not my money says partha Chatterjee)

Partha Chatterjee is in ED custody till August 2. Partha Chatterjee responded to the media by taking her to a hospital in Kolkata for a medical examination as per the court order. Chatterjee reiterated that the money seized by the ED was not his and replied that he had no income when asked about the Rs 50 crore seized.

But during interrogation, Arpita Mukherjee said that Partha Chatterjee and others kept the money in her apartment and did not even allow her to enter those rooms. 8 crore ED has been seized from more than six bank accounts. Many accounts were in the name of Arpita Mukherjee. ED official said.
