The western “Unforgiven” is directed and directed by Clint Eastwood, winner of four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. Because of its cultural significance, the US Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the National Film Registry.
Eastwood plays a retired gunman who returns to active duty for one final job: hunting down two men who turned a prostitute on their head. Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman and Richard Harris are also in the cast.
