Cinfa will award 2,500 euros to each of these 100 projects, aimed at improving the quality of life of patients and/or their caregivers, in the third edition of a new solidarity initiative in which 401 associations have participated and more than 300,000 have voted. people
Cinfa’s ‘voice of the patient’, which gives voice, financial support and visibility to patient organizations in our country, has finished the voting period, so the 100 Spanish patient entities (among the 401 submitted) that will receive the contributions of 2,500 euros. More than 300,000 people have supported this solidarity initiative with their votes.
As a novelty, Cinfa has doubled the number of grants compared to previous editions, going from 50 to 100, to promote intervention projects for improve the quality of life of patients, advancing the physical, mental or emotional well-being of people suffering from illnesses or disabilities, as well as that of their family caregivers. As Enrique Ordieres, president of Cinfa, explains, “for us it has been very exciting to see, for yet another year, how society is involved in supporting the essential work of Spanish patient associations. Your daily work is essential for patients and their families, and for us at Cinfa, it is great motivation to support them with the resources and visibility they deserve».
Among the hundred actions that will receive the contribution are, among many other groups, programs to help children with cancer, patients with Alzheimer’s, sclerosis or rare diseases, and people with brain damage or various disabilities. Cinfa, next to the patients
As Socially responsible companyand within its plan to achieve the SDGs, Cinfa carries out various initiatives in line with its mission to work for people’s health. In this way, ‘The patient’s voice’ joins the action ‘The patient’s gaze’, a photographic contest and homonymous book in favor of the associations, which shows, without filters, the reality of patients.
In addition, Cinfa has been promoting ‘CinfaTeaming’ for more than ten years, a team micro-donation initiative through which the workers and the company have already allocated 330,000 euros to more than 90 projects.
