LoSurya Festival, the longest-running art festival in Kata, is back on stage. Actress Bhavana released a booklet in conjunction with the festival. This year, the festival will feature dance and music performances by many artists outside of Malayalam cinema.
“Many of the shining stars in the art world have grown up through Surya. I look at Surya’s activities all over the world with great wonder. Surya and Surya Krishnamurthy sir have given me so much courage when unexpected events happened in my life. I am forever indebted to them for their genuine support. 111 days as a member of Surya’s family. “The Festival Book of Surya Mela is dedicated to artists and art connoisseurs,” said Bhavana while releasing the booklet.
Surya Fest is being prepared with many special features this time. One of the special features of this year is that Yesudas is performing 45 consecutive concerts on the same day at the same venue. Yesudas participated online for the last two years due to covid. But this time he is directly reaching Thiruvananthapuram. Shobhana also arrives on Surya’s stage with a dance wonder.
Rama Vaidyanath, Meenakshi Srinivasan, Priyadarshini Govind, Trivandrum Krishnakumar, Binny Krishnakumar, Padma Priya, Asha Sarath, Sunanda Nair, Janaki Rangarajan, Navyanair, Sharmila Mukherjee, Manju Warrier, Madhumita Roy and others will be the guests of the festival. Meeta Pandit, Sithara Krishnakumar, HG Chaitra, Ustad Rafi Khan, Abhishek Raghuram, Sudha Raghunathan, Balamurali, Unnikrishnan, Surya Gayathri, Hari Shankar and others will be there to enrich the fest with songs. Apart from them, other talented artists will also perform at the Surya Festival.
